We had a lovely Christmas! We ended up not going to Salt Lake or St. George this year; we just stayed put and enjoyed ourselves at home. The pictures here aren't in order, but you get the idea. We had our traditional Hawaiian take out on Christmas Eve and the kids all got their pj's and keepsake book before all cozying up in the girl's room to sleep. The next morning, they lined up to check out the loot! This was the year that Miles got a target and bow/arrows, Gwen got an electric keyboard, Lindy got a bean bag chair, Benson got a scooter, and Davy got a tree play house. Although, Richie's and mines personal favorites were when they gave each other their sibling gifts. It was so sweet to see how excited they were to give their present. My very favorite was Benson's gift to Gwen. All on his own, he picked out a rainbow pinata for her, and filled it with her favorite candy and lip gloss etc. We took it out to the barn and let her smash it. What a fantastic idea! That night we had our Christmas goose! I need more practice to make it more delicious, but it was cool to at least check off that bucket list item.
