New baby goats and new baby chicks!
End of Year performance at Breakaway Ballroom. Miles decided to join at the end of the year in the beginner's class. Yay!
We had our Mother's Day for co-op, so the Austin kids came over to hang out with our kids while they were parentless. The surprised us by using the woodpile to build this bridge!
Miles really wanted to take Benson on a date, and Benson really wanted to go to Burger King. :) So I drove them to the walmart parking lot and sat in the car while they had some bro time. :)
Co-op field trip to Eagle Island! We went on a little hike and got an impromptu tour of the fish hatchery there on site!
Richie and the kids always do such a good job spoiling me on Mother's Day. :)
Co-op skate day!
Dinners with friends! The Austin's invited us over for dinner and then we played with this giant ball! We had the Petersen's over, and they got to milk the goats.
Davy's Preschool graduation!!! Go Davy!!!!
It was the one year anniversary of my Mom's passing. We really wanted to be in SG because everyone was gathering to see the newly installed headstone, and to be with Dad on this tender anniversary. We had a pit stop at the James's, and Makenna spoiled me with a birthday dinner and presents! In SG, the olders got to do baptisms in the SG temple, and I got to do a session with my Dad and Jenn and Mike, which was really sweet. The headstone looked amazing! Mom herself actually designed the wheat design, originally for her parent's headstone. We thought it was fitting we use it on hers. 5 wheat stalks to represent their 5 children. At home, we had been trying to hatch some butterflies, but they hadn't hatched by the time we left, so we brought the cocoons down and then released the butterflies at the cemetery and at her art cottage, which was tender for me.
Extra pics from May: another craft fair, the girls' helping dad wash Grandma and Grandpa's windows, etc
