Second Half of July 2021

Lindy decided it was time to donate her hair. So she chopped it off and we sent her donation in!  Cutie inside and out.

Miles has mentioned wanting to be a comedian one day. I've showed him skits from an Instagram comedian I like, Shaun Johnson. They came to Nampa and put on an improv show, so I took Miles to it. He loved it! I loved sharing it with him.

Park days! Taking advantage of the giant swing at Shannon's! Family Swim time at the rec center!

Miles had his first Youth Camp experience. It was surreal sending my kid off to something that is still so fresh in my own memory. It was a ward YM and YW camp for a week.  It was so odd not having him here for a week. He came home dirty and happy. He had been looking forward to this experience for months. Turns out he was given a meaningful award (in bizarre form- see giant fork). Everyone at the camp had to cast an anonymous vote for the person at camp who most embodied the spirit of the camp theme that year. The leaders said the votes for Miles were almost unanimous-among leaders, older teenage kids, and the newbies like himself.

Date with Lindy to a flower arranging evening with a flower farmer we know.
