Went to the Garners in Bluffdale
Ran a 5k to raise money for the food bank on Thanksgiving morning
Played the piano, fed the neighbors animals and Miles fell on his face, and passed around the flu, because families share. :) Hope everyone eventually feels better!
Richie played frisbee golf to his heart's content and I started a new craft project of Miles' stocking.
My favorite part about this Thanksgiving was that I've been a part of Richie's family for enough time now that even smells in their house bring back memories! I know that probably sounds weird to some people, but it is what it is.

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving! So glad you had a good time–but we missed you! Hope Miles is feeling better! Did you get sick too? We all know what you mean about "smells" evoking good memories. Remember the wonderful aromas that greeted us every time we visited Grandma and Grandpa Hinckley?
Love those smells :) they are so comforting, like there will always be this good feeling to look forward to, but sometimes I forget it, and let things bother and worry me. Someday soon we all will be together. until then we'll have to muddle through somehow. Miles looks so cute in his new clothes, and I hope you all get better from that flu!
Shannon's family does a Turkey Trot every year - a course that their family charted out. Everyone either runs or walks - I think there is a 1 mile and a 5 mile. Many ward members are now participating as well. Fun tradition!
We sure missed you guys!
"Smiles" is getting so big. Looks as though your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Speaking from experience, it is wonderful to be blessed with such amazing in-laws.
