Baskets was going well! I was loving the creative outlet of shopping for all the cute things and then arranging them in fun ways. I also was spending a lot of time canning. I always like to take a celebratory picture at the end of canning season. :)
It was time to butcher our own chickens! The Baxters and the Comptons were interested in being a part of the process and learning. The jumped right in and did great!
Gwen was brave and tried a volleyball clinic! She decided it wasn't for her, but I was proud of her for trying.
Christmas Shoeboxes! One of our favorite traditions!
Grandma and Grandpa Garner came up for Thanksgiving! We ate like kings! Shannon joined us too. We danced the Shim Sham after dinner and had a little turkey bowl. They helped us split some wood before heading back to SLC.
First real snow day! It came with that beautiful frost that covers every single branch of the trees. :)
We made it to the Caldwell Lights in anticipation of Christmas! The fire breathing dragon is always a highlight.
Homeschool Honorable Mentions for November. A field trip to the planetarium in Caldwell, Gwen's class finishing our art mural of "Sunday in the Park", and Lindy deciding on her own to read the picture scripture books and then write summaries of what she read.
Homestead Honorable Mentions!
