Grandma and Grandpa Garner came all the way up from Bluffdale to help us whittle down our enormous wood pile! We rented a splitter and worked hard all weekend! Grandma even made doughnuts to celebrate hers, Gwen's and Lindy's march birthdays.
For activity days, we put on a workout class. Lindy liked it so much, she started wanting to come with me when I went to the women's workout class that is put on at the church MWF. She picks up on the choreography quickly and is so dang tough!
Lindy turns 9!!! We love our Lindy Lou! On her actual birthday, for the school day she wanted to go to the workout class and do a crunchlabs box. She had a friend party this year, and she wanted it to be spa themed. So I made up little spa kits for each girl and Gwen was my helped. We helped the girls put on face masks- complete with cucumbers on their eyes, soaked their feet, and rubbed lotion on their legs. We had calm music playing, but the girls kept giggling. :) We played pin the cucumbers on the spa girl, and ate yummy spa foods like fruit and dip, veggies and ranch, and other healthy, more fancy foods. So much fun!
Homeschool Noteables! A field trip to the State Capitol building, a field trip to the Boise Philharmonic,
Duchess had piglets again! From what I remember, it was an unexpected litter and they came when it was super cold out. Gwen spent many an hour bottle feeding piglets by the fire.
Our Gwenny officially turned 12!! On her birthday she requested a trip to a library we hadn't been to before, costco lunch at a park, and floats instead of a cake. :) That night, Richie and I took her on our traditional 12th birthday celebration- shopping for a nice new church outfit and dinner at a fancy restaurant- Brick 29-, just the 3 of us. It's so fun to spend this one on one time with our growing kids!
