Jacob was able to come out for a visit and the Ross Garner's too! We love getting to spend time with family wherever we can get it!

This was the first November 15th without Mom here to celebrate- she would have been 75! I honestly didn't know how I'd handle this day. We decided to make texas sheet cake and head to the Discovery museum in Boise because they just happened to have an impressionist artist exhibit! Most of the day went well, but by the end of the day, I was in my room crying and missing my mama.
Thanksgiving!! We spent it in Middleton with Mom and Dad and Tanner and Ondine! Of course, we had plenty of delicious food and we tried to keep the tradition of dancing the Shim Sham after dinner.
A lovely Sunday walk along the river and then hitting up the Scentsy Christmas lights when it got dark
Miles had a homeschool night where he had to present on hero's of his and his class recited the Gettysburg address. I was so impressed that Miles put together his display all on his own, specifically figuring out how to record himself talking about his heros set to music he wrote and played on his guitar.
My best friend from college, Alisha Bacon, moved to the treasure valley! Yay!! We had their family over to dinner.

Homestead Notables: Butchering chickens, having our cow Kolo processed. He and this pig were buddies on the pasture, and when the butcher shot the cow, the pig actually had a hard time with it! It was crazy and touching to witness. Full freezer and full shelves, yay! Made lots of dish soap, bar soap, and tallow butter and shared a booth with our neighbor Sylvia at a big holiday market.
