June Catch Up

At the beginning of June, we officially ended our weekly get together with our homeschool group. One night we got together for pot luck dinner at the Glausers. That same week, we did a field day to celebrate. We each brought a game of some sort and just switched from game to game all morning. We did water balloon tosses, missionary tag, played with pop-its, ate popsicles, did the pie face game (which was a huge hit), tried passing water in a cup behind heads, and "pass the banana" where you have to hold a banana in your feet, and pass it behind you to the next person. It was so much fun. We're going to try and get together in a non-formal/learning way every week throughout the summer.

Every once in a while, the urge to do some yoga strikes the kids, and they get our their "mats". This time, Lindy was SO into it. She did the entire 30 minute video and made sure she kept a close eye on her brother and sister to make sure she was doing it right. :)

We started trying to create our own fairy garden. Here's our first attempt, which turned out to be a huge fail. We've done a few other things successfully, but overall...this project is lacking. It needs a shot of adrenaline I think.

Richie and I have been trying to make spending individual time with the kids more of a priority. So here's me and Gwen, in all my swollen pregnant glory, on our way to see a movie at the cheap seats. We went and saw Kung-Fu Panda 3 and spent the same amount on candy as we did on the movie.

Two cute sisters cuddling. :)
