Lindy's Baptism

We decided to host Lindy's baptism in St. George to make traveling easier for the majority of my family, but mostly for my Mom. It was kind of fun having Lindy be baptized in the same room/font that I was.  She asked Grandma Crosby to give the talk on baptism, Grandma Garner to give the talk on the holy ghost, and Aunt Makenna and Grandpa Garner to sing a special musical number.  They sang "Dearest Children" by our ancestor, Charles Crosby. We changed the word "children" to "Lindy". (Dearest Lindy, God is Near You).  Her Grandpas were the witnesses.

Afterward, we had a luncheon in the gym and served pulled pork sandwiches from our pigs.  It was lovely and we felt so supported. Family travelled down from SLC and helped us with all the food prep. Lindy felt so special and loved. I hope she remembers the spirit she felt and how loved she is!
