We kept her birthday pretty low key this year. She requested pizza and pink cake. Done and done! :) We started the day off right with balloons and a #3 pancake with nutella. She got special privileges throughout the day like choosing the learning show and what we ate for lunch. At dinner time, we got some Papa Murphy's pizza and the kids all helped me decorate her pink cake. Then we opened presents! Miles got her a barbie doll and Gwen got her some pink gum. Lindy could not have been happier! She was thrilled! We also got her a book, a movie and a plastic beading set thing. She was so happy about it all, especially when we sang happy birthday to her. She sang along with us, "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to Lindy!" Then the kids watched her new movie, "Dumbo" together. Good, low-key birthday that made her feel really special. Check.

Wow, so much going on here. First off, Happy Birthday, Lindy!! I cannot believe she is 3! She isn't that much younger than Alec. Second, holy crap on the chicks! I was reading the homesteading paragraph to Ben and we both agreed that it sounds cool, but crazy! I love your little homestead and bunnies are my FAVORITE at that age. I love that you're so good at documenting all of this. We certainly are enjoying your ride and I can only imagine that someday when you look back at this you will be amazed at how much you had going on.
