The rest of June

Miles found some old Halloween face paint and turned himself into a tiger one Sunday during quiet time. :)

First picture of official first pig tails on Lindy. I've said it before, but, totally a big milestone. :) So much square footage on those cheeks!!

Lindy is a master mess-maker. Partly because of the age she's at and partly because I think she has some special talents. If the pantry door is left open, watch out. She grabs whichever cereal bag is closest and shakes it everywhere to get to the cereal, as pictured here. Also make sure you always close the craft closet door. We've made that mistake quite a few times and we are always sorry we did. This particular day, it was glitter.

Miles drawing his first serious portrait. Dad was on the couch, he handed him his superman figurine, and told dad to sit very still do he could draw him. It was the first time he did anything else besides 2 dots for eyes and a line for a smiley face. He worked so hard on it, and it was so fun to watch the process.

We went to the Herriman Reservoir with some friends in the ward. It happened to be a little chilly that day, but still so fun! I love the ladies in my ward.

Here's the kids taking one of the bunnies for a ride in their bike. :) This one was from the first kit,of which we sold all but one. Later that day, after the bike ride, we sold that ginger one and the kids were heartbroken. But when they realized that they get paid when we sell bunnies, and that the mama kit and new bunnies coming to play with, they were ok with it.

We took a field trip to the landfill with our homeschool group! What an eye opener! I'm already a little bit of a granola, and I'd like to think we do a pretty good job recycling, but we're kicking it up a notch after that trip. Super fun outing, only made more fun by visiting an out of the way park that we normally don't get to.

Ross and Amanda moved. :( They are working and going to school up in Portland now. We're so excited for them to have this experience, but they are sorely missed around here.

Another book finished, another party. :)
