3rd week of October

STEM stuff is not my forte, but I keep trying to find fun ways to incorporate it. We made grape towers while we listened to our history for the week, and then ate them. :)

We had homeschool group at our house the other week. We learned about how the Chinese made books by using wooden blocks or stamps, rather than writing it by hand. We tried to make our own stamps. Tried being the key word.

After school that day, we went to the pumpkin patch. I love this fun, fall activity!

More school stuff! School is kind of our lives. Lindy surprised me and started sorting all these colored buttons all by herself and naming the colors! Also pictured is part of our moon study that week. Anytime your incorporate Oreos into school, it's a good lesson.

Apple pressing day!! Last year, just Miles and Gwen helped Grandma and Grandpa. This year, everyone got involved! It was so much fun. Perfect way to spend a fall day. And the juice that you get is like liquid gold!
