The Rest of September

These pictures are too dark, but this is us working on salsa. I know I should try and include the kids more when we do kitchen things, but honestly, most of the time I try and wait until bedtime because it's easier that way. We got brave this day and had the kids help make salsa. It was such a good experience, I might just do it again!


For FHE one night, we went up to one of our favorite close by spots to try and see some fall foliage. It was beautiful weather and we had fun hiking around with our grilled cheese sandwiches.


Homeschool/Joy school stuff


The kids both started dance classes this month. It's been a huge hit! The only tough moment was when Miles had to learn how to do a cartwheel and didn't get it on the first try. He was so embarrassed about it, the teacher said he wouldn't participate the rest of class. :( This is so Miles. He likes to get it right the first time, and generally, he can catch onto things pretty quickly. So when he doesn't, it's a little hard for him to swallow. In this picture, we were just picking Gwen up from her time, and I said, "strike a dance pose", and this is what I got. Ha!
